Let me lead you into the light of project management
I have over 56 years of experience, including 31 years in project management and 14 years in project management education. I have managed various projects in software development, engineering and construction industries; both in private and public sectors; as well as for both owners and contractors. I’ve lectured and presented papers in multiple areas of project management and am a recognized subject matter expert in planning & scheduling and earned value management. I served on PMI’s Core Team for the development of the initial Scheduling Standard.
I bring my vast arsenal of personal anecdotes from “the trenches” to the classroom to make the connection between academics and practice. My experience also includes professional development and mentoring of employees, training students in scheduling software systems, as well as developing and delivering PMP® exam preparation courses. I developed the original Project Management Certificate Program at California State University Dominguez Hills and continue to receive overwhelmingly positive feedback from my students. I am the author of the “Microsoft Project Scheduling” training manual for versions 2010 through 2019.
